COX CERVICAL SPINE EXERCISES
for
Flexibility, Strength and Pain Free Motion of the Neck

Exercises after the acute pain has diminished.
Do the following exercises if you feel no pain in your neck or cervical area.

Please see precaution in "General Instructions" below

 FORDWARD FLEXION

BACKWARD FLEXION

RIGHT BENDING

LEFT BENDING
HAND RESISTANCE EXERCISES

These exercises are as effective, but they do not require the use of the *Cox Headband Isotonic Unit  to perform. The position of each of the four (4) exercises is demonstrated in the pictures on the left. Resist each neck movement with counterpressure from your hands, to the comfortable tolerance of your neck muscles. Do each of of these exercises 12 - 15 times, SLOWLY.  Increase the resistance with your hands as your improvement allows.

* For more information about the Cox Headband Isotonic Unit, please
see your chiropractic physician.

If your doctor suggests nutritional supplementation, be sure to follow it closely.

The Cox exercises are to be used in conjunction with your chiropractic care and should be discussed with your chiropractic physician before use.
