Dr. Orphan has been in practice for 22 years. He started practice here in Walpole Massachusetts after he received both his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Chiropractic degrees. After graduating from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard Illinois, Dr. Orphan moved back to the Norwood/Walpole area his Home Town. A few years after opening Walpole Spine Clinics, Dr. Orphan continued his efforts to broaden his knowledge including earning the coveted Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Neurolgy, (DABCN), postgraduate certification. There are only 584 chiropractors with a Diplomate in Chiropractic Neuology worldwide. Continuing on, he enrolled in the Diplomate program for Chiropractic Orthopedics and received his Diplomate status from the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics, (DABCO). In the same year, Dr. Orphan was recognized as, and was awarded the prestigious "Chiropractor of the Year Award" from the notable, Markson Management Systems.
Dr. Orphan has a unique understanding and rare expertise in Chiropractic medicine which is invaluable in the diagnosis and treatment of every patient he sees. He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association as well as a member of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society. Other notable certifications include the following:

Weekly since 1991, he has attended neurology rounds and table discussions with the Chief of Neurology and the residents of St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton, MA. Discussions include those related to some of the more difficult cases and together they workout an appropriate treatment regime. He also attends a monthly neurological conference at Caritas Norwood Hospital which he has enjoyed for the many years he's been involved.
As an added benefit to his patients, surrounding communities, his enjoyment of public speaking, and his overwhelming passion for the concept of Chiropractic Care, he became a Certified Instructor for the American Red Cross, "Protect Your Back" program. Over the past years, he has spoken to numerous civic organizations, schools, employers and their employees. He offers this course bimonthly throughout the year to all his patients.
In his spare time, "Dr. O" enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He teaches Karate, is an avid and accomplished triathlete . “Dr, O” practices what he preaches which not only makes him a better doctor but also gives him a keen insight into spine problems related to active lifestyles (See Dr. O in action).
