What to expect on your first visit to
Walpole Chiropractic & Diagnostic Center

From the time you contact our office you will be considered a "VIP". Our office is very user friendly and our staff is very friendly, courteous and competent. We take great pride in the services we provide. Our practicing ethics are high and we recognize the fact that the patient always comes first. Our office hours are convenient and revolve around the schedules of our busy patients. We understand the needs of our patients and are continually upgrading and modifying our procedures and services, to service you, our patient, better and more efficiently.

When you visit our office you should expect to fill out paperwork, as you would, if you saw any other health care provider. Our office has the state of the art computer scanning equipment which can process patient information within moments. This allows for faster translation of your important medical information to the doctor. This also cuts down on the waiting time before you are seen. On your initial visit, you should allow approximately 1 hour for the entire visit. This includes filling out our medical information sheets, examination and scheduling any other testing/x-rays that the doctor may want you to have. Then, you will be escorted to our front desk where financial arrangements will be discussed. Does your insurance cover chiropractic care? If not, we can make appropriate financial arrangements. Does our office need to get a referral? This is all worked out, so all is clear.

After, the initial visit, you will need to come back for a Report of Findings (ROF), so Dr. Orphan can review his findings with you. During this appointment as well, Dr. Orphan will go over his proposed treatment regime. This will include discussing what the actual chiropractic treatments will consist of along with your/his goals for care and the length of time he expects your treatment will be.

Then, once again, you will visit our front desk and go over any loose ends with the staff concerning insurance, office policy and to schedule your chiropractic visits.

During your course of treatment you will be attending Dr. Orphan's "Special New Patient Orientation." This is a presentation that "Dr. O" offers to all his new patients as a free service to help you protect your back better. Patients who attend, tend to improve faster and save expenses. This will also give you a chance to get answers to any questions you may have concerning your different phases of chiropractic care with us.

Our practice focus is one of musculorskeletal complaints. This encompasses a wide area. This includes neck pain, headaches, shoulder, arm, hand pain and tingling. We also treat lower back complaints, knees and feet. Chiropractors focus on misaligned bones or subluxations, as well as, treating your symptoms. A chiropractor is primarily interested in detecting, reducing and preventing the vertebral subluxation complex. Kids are one of our specialties. Their spines are growing and with the amount of kids participating in all types of sports, the probability of them misaligning their growing spines is very high. Get their spines checked for subluxations and scoliosis.
